Gateway was paced in scoring by Maliq Alford who scored 17 points while also collecting five rebounds and three assists. Erick Covington recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Gateway hosting Westminster and Adams City taking on Fruita Monument.
