Platte Valley was hot from beyond the arc, hitting eight threes but ultimately fell 50-46 against The Vanguard School on Saturday, Feb. 1.

The Vanguard School was lead in scoring by Alexis Garcia who scored 15 points while also recording five rebounds and four assists. Juliana Garcia and Hailey Blanchard also had respectable games contributing 15 points and 12 points, respectively.

Platte Valley was lead in scoring by Cora Schissler who scored 22 points, while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Andi Schissler had a respectable night, recording eight points, five rebounds and two assists.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with The Vanguard School heading to play Colorado Springs Christian and Platte Valley taking on University.
