The Basalt Longhorns earned a win when they defeated the Cedaredge Bruins 60-48 on Friday, Jan. 31.
Basalt was lead in scoring by Wish Moore who accounted for 12 points while also grabbing five rebounds. Alberto Alvarez recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Cedaredge was lead in scoring by Colby Rupp who scored 15 points, while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Owen Craig had a notable night, scoring 12 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Basalt will stay home and play Moffat County, while Cedaredge will travel to play Gunnison.
