The Montrose Indians defeated the Durango Demons by a score of 38-30 on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Montrose was lead in scoring by Kennadie Minerich who put up 13 points while also collecting one rebound and two assists. Ally Nichols helped by chipping in six points and four rebounds.
Durango was lead in scoring by Mason Rowland who scored eight points, while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Brenna Wolf helped by chipping in five points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Montrose heading to play Fruita Monument and Durango taking on Grand Junction Central.
