The Niwot Cougars earned a win when they defeated the Mountain View Mountain Lions 49-41 on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Austin Rathburn lead Niwot with 16 points scored while also collecting 12 rebounds. Kyle Reeves had a solid night, recording nine points, four rebounds and four assists.
Mountain View was lead in scoring by Alex Hurr who scored 11 points while grabbing three rebounds. Brevan Branscum helped the effort by contributing 10 points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Niwot heading to play Northridge and Mountain View taking on Greeley Central.
