The Montrose Indians defeated the Durango Demons by a score of 61-44 on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Sean Alex lead Montrose with 20 points scored while also collecting three rebounds and four assists. Trey Schwerdtfeger and Luke Hutto also had solid outings contributing 13 points and 11 points, respectively.
Durango was lead in scoring by Jordan Woolverton who scored 12 points. Martin Cuntz had a productive night, scoring 12 points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Montrose heading to play Fruita Monument and Durango taking on Ignacio.
