Palmer earned a win when they defeated the Coronado Cougars 58-48 on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Palmer was lead in scoring by Kolben Barney who accounted for 19 points while also collecting eight rebounds and four assists. Jaelyn Robinson helped by chipping in 14 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Coronado was paced in scoring by Brycen Scherr who accounted for 15 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Kane Rempel and Ladarius Mays also had good performances contributing 15 points and nine points, respectively.
Next up for each team, Coronado will play host to Doherty, while Palmer will travel to play Fountain-Fort Carson.
