The Arvada West Wildcats earned a win when they defeated the Bear Creek Bears 54-46 on Wednesday.
Josh Yago lead Arvada West with 14 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and eight assists. Cooper Prada and Eli Ross also had productive performances contributing 10 points and nine points, respectively.
Bear Creek was lead in scoring by Xavier Herrera who put up 15 points, while also recording two rebounds and two assists. Luis Miera aided the effort by chipping in 13 points and two rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Arvada West heading to play Pomona and Bear Creek taking on Valor Christian.
