Eagle Valley made their presence felt from three-point land, sinking eight treys but ultimately lost 79-62 against Battle Mountain on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Battle Mountain was paced in scoring by Liam Mckenny who scored 32 points while also collecting nine rebounds and three assists. Owen Ruotolo had a productive night, recording 24 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Eagle Valley was paced in scoring by Keegan Garvey who put up 18 points, while also recording one rebound and two assists. Carlos Sanchez helped the effort by contributing 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Battle Mountain heading to play Summit and Eagle Valley taking on Coal Ridge.
