Cherry Creek let it fly from downtown, drilling 10 treys in their 81-60 victory over Overland on Wednesday.
Julian Hammond iii lead Cherry Creek with 24 points scored while also recording eight rebounds and three assists. Myles Purchase helped by chipping in 22 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Overland was paced in scoring by Vinni Veikalas who scored 13 points. Hezekiah Swanson and Trevon Deden also had solid games contributing 13 points and nine points, respectively.
Looking ahead to their next games, Overland will stay home and play Smoky Hill, while Cherry Creek will travel to play Mullen.
