The Basalt Longhorns narrowly lost to the Rifle Bears in a 28-26 contest on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Mackenzie Elizardo lead Rifle with nine points scored while also grabbing four rebounds. Jamie Caron had a solid night, recording eight points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Basalt was lead in scoring by Riley Dolan who put up six points while collecting one rebounds. Kaitlin Boothe aided the effort by contributing six points and four rebounds.
Rifle will stay home and play Summit, while Basalt will travel to play Grand Valley.
