The Summit Tigers narrowly won over the Battle Mountain Huskies in a 37-33 contest on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Paola Arrendondo lead Summit with nine points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Anna Tomlinson and Brina Babich also had notable games contributing seven points each.
Battle Mountain was paced in scoring by Augustine Hancock who put up nine points, while also recording 10 rebounds and one assist. Alden Pennington helped by chipping in six points and four rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Summit heading to play Rifle and Battle Mountain taking on Grand Junction.
