The Trinidad Miners narrowly won over the La Junta Tigers in a 36-32 game on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Julia Holden lead Trinidad with 15 points scored while also collecting nine rebounds. Kirsten Martinez helped the effort by chipping in 13 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

La Junta was paced in scoring by Hayden Mayo who accounted for 10 points while grabbing four rebounds. Breyona Lucero had a solid night, scoring seven points.

Next up for each team, La Junta will stay home and play Buena Vista, while Trinidad will travel to play Florence.
