RTD warns that Denver metro’s bus, light rail and commuter rail systems are running up to 30 minutes late Thursday because of icy conditions.

Wintry conditions persist across the Denver metro where traffic crashes have closed highway lanes, according to reports by the Colorado Department of Transportation.

A crash on northbound Interstate 25 between Arapahoe and Orchard roads triggered closures of the left lanes of traffic, according to a 6:33 a.m. CDOT tweet.

Commuters should expect delays Thursday morning, according to the tweet.
