The La Veta Redskins earned a win when they defeated Creede 53-35 on Friday.
Carson Miller lead La Veta with 18 points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Ian Vallejos helped the effort by chipping in seven points and three rebounds.
Creede was paced in scoring by Fisher Leggitt who put up 18 points while collecting five rebounds. Tristan Wahrenburg and Dane Fluck also had productive performances contributing six points each.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with La Veta hosting Custer County and Creede taking on Lake City Community.
