The Douglas County Huskies narrowly lost to the Ponderosa Mustangs in a 43-40 showdown on Thursday.
Liberty Line lead Ponderosa with 19 points scored while also recording two rebounds and three assists. Katherine Higgins helped by contributing eight points and eight rebounds.
Douglas County was lead in scoring by Hannah Saunders who accounted for 12 points while collecting one rebounds. Carly Dickson aided the effort by chipping in 10 points and five rebounds.
Next up for each team, Ponderosa will stay home and play Chaparral, while Douglas County will travel to play Rock Canyon.
