The Fruita Monument Wildcats easily defeated the Grand Junction Tigers by a score of 67-34 on Friday.
Marcus Labonde lead Fruita Monument with 23 points scored while also recording 11 rebounds and five assists. Ian Barnes and Cole Savage also had productive games contributing 17 points and nine points, respectively.
Grand Junction was lead in scoring by Blaine Butler who put up 12 points while collecting three rebounds. John Paradiso had a good night, scoring six points.
Grand Junction will stay home and play Battle Mountain, while Fruita Monument will travel to play Grand Junction Central.
