Center made their presence felt from downtown, drilling 41.2% of their shots but ultimately lost 65-33 to Del Norte on Saturday.
Del Norte was lead in scoring by Kendra Parra who put up 25 points while also collecting five rebounds and eight assists. Gabby Jones recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Center was paced in scoring by Natalia Cendejas who accounted for 12 points while grabbing five rebounds. Brandi Almeida aided the effort by chipping in 10 points and seven rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Del Norte heading to play Ignacio and Center taking on Sanford.
