Flatirons Academy could not overcome Mile High Academy in 51-44 loss on Saturday.
Blake Essex lead Mile High Academy with 25 points scored while also recording 10 rebounds and one assist. Dylan McCottry had a solid night, recording 10 points, two rebounds and four assists.
Flatirons Academy was lead in scoring by Jonah Cox who accounted for 17 points, while also recording seven rebounds and three assists. Cody Koehn aided the effort by chipping in 13 points and three rebounds.
Next up for each team, Mile High Academy will stay home and play Belleview Christian, while Flatirons Academy will travel to play Shining Mountain.
