Heritage Christian dominated in the paint, grabbing 62.2 of all rebounds and swatting four shots in their 81-55 win over Gilpin County on Saturday.
Heritage Christian was lead in scoring by Jaden Johnson who scored 17 points while also collecting four rebounds and six assists. Montgomery Case and Jarrett Johnson also had good outings contributing 17 points and 14 points, respectively.
Gilpin County was lead in scoring by Stephen King who accounted for 23 points, while also collecting two rebounds and eight assists. Blake Boulter recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Heritage Christian hosting Dayspring Christian Academy and Gilpin County taking on Denver Academy.
