Cheyenne Mountain was paced in scoring by Selena Vargas who scored 22 points while collecting eight rebounds. Taegan Steinfort and Alena San Augustin also had respectable outings contributing 10 points and nine points, respectively.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sand Creek heading to play Vista Ridge and Cheyenne Mountain taking on Air Academy.
