For one resident of the Colorado Springs area, 2020 just got a little luckier.

A winning Colorado Lotto+ ticket worth $1.4 million in Saturday’s drawing was sold south of Colorado Springs, Colorado Lottery officials said. The ticket was sold at a Tower Liquors location, according to the lottery.

The winning ticket had a cash value of $738,404. The prize was the largest Lotto+ award since Dec. 17, when a Parker resident won $2.5 million. That ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven, according to the Lottery.

The Colorado Lotto+ was last hit on Feb. 10 in Denver. A winning ticket for $1,500 was purchased at a King Soopers, according to the lottery.

The next Lotto+ drawing will be held at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, with an estimated prize of $250,000 up for grabs.
