
St. Mary’s easily handled the La Junta Tigers by a score of 76-28 on Wednesday.
St. Mary’s was paced in scoring by Josephine Howery who accounted for 21 points while also recording six rebounds and five assists. Seneca Hackley aided the effort by chipping in 15 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
La Junta was lead in scoring by Angelina Sanchez who accounted for eight points, while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Breyona Lucero aided the effort by chipping in five points and six rebounds.
In their next games, La Junta will play host to Ellicott, while St. Mary’s will travel to play Palmer Ridge.
