Standley Lake could not overcome Wheat Ridge in 51-36 loss on Wednesday.
Standley Lake was lead in scoring by Lexi Stout who put up 14 points while collecting five rebounds. Mya Sanchez aided the effort by chipping in seven points and three rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Wheat Ridge heading to play D’Evelyn and Standley Lake taking on Evergreen.
