Custer County could not overcome Cotopaxi in 50-31 loss on Thursday.
Cotopaxi was lead in scoring by Koylynn Gulliford who accounted for 21 points while also collecting 11 rebounds and one assist. Shealee Coleman had a notable night, recording nine points, three rebounds and two assists.
Cotopaxi will stay home and play Antonito, while Custer County will travel to play Trinidad.
