The Pueblo Central Wildcats narrowly lost to the Pueblo South Colts in a 47-44 showdown on Thursday.
Jada Dupree lead Pueblo South with 21 points scored. Grace Whiting helped by contributing nine points.
Pueblo Central was paced in scoring by Jocelyn Marquez who put up 14 points, while also recording four rebounds and four assists. Alicia Lest recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 15 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Pueblo South hosting Air Academy and Pueblo Central taking on Pueblo West.
