Swallows Charter Academy made their presence felt from three-point land, hitting nine treys in their 64-47 victory over Las Animas on Thursday.
Devon Jones lead Swallows Charter Academy with 24 points scored while also recording six rebounds and four assists. Matthew Vallejos helped the effort by chipping in 18 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Las Animas was paced in scoring by Cutter Nichols who put up 16 points. Justin Miller and Drew Huffman also had solid performances contributing 14 points and 10 points, respectively.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Swallows Charter Academy hosting John Mall and Las Animas taking on Swink.
