The Pagosa Springs Pirates narrowly lost to the Alamosa Mean Moose in a 33-29 showdown on Friday.
Alamosa was paced in scoring by Lilly Lavier who scored nine points while also recording six rebounds and three assists. Emily Lavier helped the effort by contributing eight points and four rebounds.
Pagosa Springs was paced in scoring by Hailey Griego who scored six points while grabbing eight rebounds. Taylor Lewis helped by contributing five points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Looking ahead to their next games, Pagosa Springs will play host to Bayfield, while Alamosa will travel to play Centauri.
