Poudre dominated the post, snagging 60.3 of all rebounds and swatting four shots in their 47-43 win over Horizon on Friday.
Poudre was paced in scoring by Bela Voglund who accounted for 19 points while also collecting three rebounds and one assist. Brooke Bohlender recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Horizon was lead in scoring by Audra Vine who accounted for 15 points, while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Olivia Waufle had a good night, recording 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Poudre heading to play Broomfield and Horizon taking on Rocky Mountain.
