
Centennial let it rain from beyond the arc, sinking eight threes in their 53-47 win over Sierra Grande on Friday.
Centennial was paced in scoring by Randi Espinoza who put up 15 points while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Xiomara Maestas and Jayden DeLeon also had respectable outings contributing 12 points each.
Sierra Grande was lead in scoring by Destinee De Leon who accounted for 13 points, while also recording one rebound and three assists. Mariana Loya had a good night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Centennial heading to play Antonito and Sierra Grande taking on La Veta.
