Broomfield let it rain from beyond the arc, drilling nine treys but ultimately fell 58-47 against Fossil Ridge on Friday.
Lauren Zwetzig lead Fossil Ridge with 15 points scored while also recording 11 rebounds and two assists. Sophia Hadad and Allison Osthoff also had respectable outings contributing 13 points and 12 points, respectively.
Broomfield was paced in scoring by Jessica Hoffman who scored 17 points, while also collecting five rebounds and three assists. Jaylene Young aided the effort by chipping in 13 points and five rebounds.
Broomfield will stay home and play Poudre, while Fossil Ridge will travel to play Fairview.
