The Montrose Indians earned a win when they defeated Grand Junction Central 38-19 on Friday.
Ally Nichols lead Montrose with 12 points scored while also recording six rebounds and one assist. Josie Eccher and Caraline Burwell also had productive outings contributing eight points each.
Grand Junction Central was paced in scoring by Leah Redding who put up 14 points, while also recording two rebounds and one assist. Mya Murdock had a solid night, scoring three points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Montrose hosting Fruita Monument and Grand Junction Central taking on Grand Junction.
