The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds easily put away the Manzanola Bobcats by a score of 59-33 on Friday.
Sangre de Cristo was paced in scoring by Kylee Christensen who scored 17 points while also collecting four rebounds and six assists. Ashley Mortensen aided the effort by chipping in 11 points and two rebounds.
Manzanola was paced in scoring by Heaven Martinez who accounted for 19 points while grabbing three rebounds. Emma Martinez helped the effort by chipping in nine points, six rebounds, and two assists.
Looking ahead to their next games, Sangre de Cristo will stay home and play Lake City, while Manzanola will travel to play Creede.
