Wheat Ridge let it fly from beyond the arc, hitting eight threes in their 84-57 win over D’Evelyn on Friday.
Wheat Ridge was lead in scoring by Alex Morales who put up 27 points while also recording one rebound and two assists. Dominic Bronk recorded a double-double, scoring 16 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
D’Evelyn was paced in scoring by Luke Kjellsen who scored 14 points, while also recording four rebounds and two assists. Camden Jahr and Jack Grant also had notable games contributing nine points each.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Wheat Ridge hosting Bear Creek and D’Evelyn taking on Golden.
