Lakewood made their presence felt from beyond the arc, drilling 13 threes in their 64-25 victory over Pomona on Friday.
Nadia Trevizo-Medina lead Lakewood with 16 points scored while also collecting one rebound and five assists. Briana Robles helped by chipping in nine points and four rebounds.
Pomona was lead in scoring by Alex Stunkard who scored 14 points. Elena Montoya had a good night, scoring five points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Lakewood hosting Mesa Ridge and Pomona taking on Ralston Valley.
