The Denver North Vikings narrowly won over the Denver South Rebels in a 89-86 showdown on Friday, Feb. 14.
Denver North was lead in scoring by Thompson Lane who scored 28 points. Jordan Aguirre aided the effort by contributing 19 points.
Denver South was paced in scoring by Turumbil Zaki who scored 49 points, while also recording seven rebounds and one assist. Kaiden Braesch had a solid night, scoring 10 points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Denver North heading to play Lincoln and Denver South taking on Regis Groff.
