The Edison Eagles narrowly lost to Fountain Valley in a 42-38 showdown on Monday.
Fountain Valley was paced in scoring by Jacob Davis who scored 14 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds. Luke Sperber aided the effort by contributing 12 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists.
Edison was paced in scoring by Brett Green who accounted for 14 points, while also collecting six rebounds and one assist. Chase Golding had a notable night, scoring 13 points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fountain Valley heading to play Thomas MacLaren School and Edison taking on Hanover.
