
Gilpin County drops contest to Dayspring Christian Academy in 45-40 loss on Saturday.
Dayspring Christian Academy was paced in scoring by Malachi Fast who accounted for 24 points while also collecting seven rebounds. Caden Bonnell helped the effort by contributing 16 points and nine rebounds.
Gilpin County was lead in scoring by Stephen King who accounted for 14 points, while also recording one rebound and one assist. Blake Boulter recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Gilpin County will stay home and play Clear Creek, while Dayspring Christian Academy will travel to play Union Colony Prep.
