La Veta had a field day from downtown, sinking 11 threes in their 61-41 victory over Moffat on Saturday.
Carson Miller lead La Veta with 30 points scored while also collecting six rebounds. Race Lessar had a solid night, scoring eight points.
Moffat was lead in scoring by Cedar Ross who put up 18 points while collecting 20 rebounds. Tristan Martinez had a respectable night, recording 17 points, four rebounds and two assists.
In their next games, La Veta will play host to Centennial, while Moffat will travel to play Sangre de Cristo.
