Vista PEAK Prep dominated from three-point land, drilling 10 threes in their 75-54 win over Thornton on Tuesday.
Vista PEAK Prep was lead in scoring by Curtis Stovall who accounted for 15 points while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Sayo Owolabi and AJ Lacabe also had productive outings contributing 14 points and 13 points, respectively.
Thornton was paced in scoring by Alfonso Salais who put up 17 points, while also recording eight rebounds and four assists. Anthony Sandoval aided the effort by chipping in 15 points and six rebounds.
Next up for each team, Thornton will stay home and play Brighton, while Vista PEAK Prep will travel to play Hinkley.
