Elizabeth made their presence felt from beyond the arc, hitting 12 threes in their 68-58 win over Canon City on Wednesday.
Elizabeth was lead in scoring by Tristan Smith who put up 24 points while also recording eight rebounds and four assists. Tyson Griffin recorded a double-double, scoring 21 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Canon City was lead in scoring by Josh Rall who scored 20 points while collecting three rebounds. Seth Newton had a respectable night, recording 20 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Elizabeth hosting Sierra and Canon City taking on The Classical Academy.
