Vista PEAK Prep was a force to be reckoned with in the paint, collecting 60.6 of all rebounds and swatting four shots in their 80-50 win over Hinkley on Wednesday.
Vista PEAK Prep was lead in scoring by Curtis Stovall who put up 20 points while also collecting five rebounds and one assist. Sayo Owolabi and Jaylen Carrizales also had solid outings contributing 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
Hinkley was lead in scoring by Taveon Long who accounted for 11 points, while also recording nine rebounds and three assists. Xavion Davison and Jeremiah Taylor also had productive games contributing 11 points and nine points, respectively.
Looking ahead to their next games, Hinkley will play host to Aurora Central, while Vista PEAK Prep will travel to play Westminster.
