The Elbert Bulldogs easily handled the Kiowa Indians by a score of 52-32 on Thursday.
Jhett Alapia lead Elbert with 24 points scored while also recording 13 rebounds and two assists. Kade Bitterman had a solid night, recording eight points, three rebounds and five assists.
Kiowa was paced in scoring by Dustin Wenz who scored 14 points, while also collecting nine rebounds and one assist. Kayden Kalish helped by contributing nine points and seven rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Kiowa will stay home and play Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, while Elbert will travel to play Kiowa.
