Grand Valley owned the paint, collecting 69.8 of all rebounds and blocking five shot attempts in their 42-36 win over Roaring Fork on Thursday.

Grand Valley was lead in scoring by Taygann Schoeppner who scored 13 points while also collecting three rebounds and one assist. Jordyn Pittman had a solid night, recording seven points, 14 rebounds and three assists.

Roaring Fork was lead in scoring by Isabella Hernandez who accounted for 10 points while collecting four rebounds. Caroline Wisroth and Maya Lindgren also had notable outings contributing seven points each.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Grand Valley hosting Moffat County and Roaring Fork taking on Coal Ridge.
