Grand Junction Central could not overcome Durango in 49-35 loss on Friday, Feb. 21.

Durango was paced in scoring by Mason Rowland who put up 17 points while also collecting seven rebounds and one assist. Emma Fitzgerald aided the effort by chipping in nine points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Grand Junction Central was lead in scoring by Mya Murdock who accounted for 14 points, while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Leah Redding had a good night, scoring nine points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Durango heading to play Skyview and Grand Junction Central taking on Pine Creek.
