A man suspected of pulling a knife on a store employee in Arvada has been arrested, police said.

Brian Webster, 37, was arrested Tuesday morning in the area of 5500 W. 56th Avenue, according to a news release.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. Monday in a clothing store at West 52nd Avenue and Vance Street. An assailant, armed with a knife, grabbed a store employee, a woman, and attempted to move her toward the front of the business. The woman suffered minor injuries and the assailant fled. Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect on social media on Monday night.

Webster was held Tuesday at the Jefferson County jail on suspicion of kidnapping, assault and menacing.
