

Plenty of mock drafts have the Broncos going for an Alabama player with the No. 15 pick. But, for the most part, it’s been either receivers Jerry Jeudy or Henry Ruggs III.

The mock draft isn’t based on what she thinks teams will actually do, she writes. Rather, it’s based on her draft prospect models and what teams need, according to various metrics.
Case in point: LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who’s widely seen as the No. 1 overall pick, is going to the Miami Dolphins at No. 5.
Another note: Colorado receiver is the 17th overall pick in this mock draft, going to the Cowboys. “If you want to know why my model likes him so much, go back and watch his 2018 film. This past season, nagging injuries and a new coaching staff sapped his production,” Frelund writes.
