Health officials will hold a “virtual town hall” for residents of three metro area counties on Wednesday evening to answer questions about the spreading coronavirus, which as of Tuesday morning had infected 15 people in Colorado.

The town hall, hosted by Tri-County Health, will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will air on various websites affiliated with , and Adams counties.

The event will feature Tri-County Health Department’s executive director, Dr. John Douglas; medical epidemiologist, Dr. Bernadette Ann Albanese; and director of emergency preparedness, response, and communicable disease surveillance, Michele Askenazi.

Tri-County Health Department, which is the largest local public health agency in the state, serves more than 1.5 million people in Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties. Residents can also listen in and ask questions during the town hall by dialing 1-855-436-3656.

Residents and business owners from all three counties can submit questions for health officials at the town hall ahead of time .
