Denver DMV employee tests positive for coronavirus

An employee at the Tremont DMV in Denver tested positive for COVID-19, officials announced Sunday.

Anyone who visited the Tremont DMV, located at 2855 Tremont Place, on March 11 or 12, is urged to pay close attention to whether they feel ill and contact their healthcare provider if they begin to display symptoms that include fever, cough & shortness of breath, the agency tweeted.

The branch office for Denver Motor Vehicle was closed Thursday after the employee exhibited symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

As of Sunday morning, Colorado’s COVID-19 test result stood at 101 positive, 610 negative with 710 people tested.
