Clouds and fog will give way to mostly sunny skies Sunday afternoon with temperatures rising into the mid-50s in the Denver region.

The early morning fog will reduce visibility to less than a mile in some areas, but should dissipate by late morning, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder, which warned of the fog in a hazardous weather report.

The afternoon’s temperate weather will continue through the start of the week with highs in the 50s and 60s before the weather cools Thursday and into the weekend.

Rain and some snow is expected overnight Thursday and into Friday, with blustery conditions on the plains, according to the weather service.
